HOSPITALITY TECHNOLOGY - GCC
Role: Fractional CFO, Board Member, Strategic Advisor.
Client: bnbme Holiday Homes, a multi-award-winning, tech-enabled short-term rental operator active in Dubai and Saudi Arabia.
Mandate: Built and scaled the finance function, including team recruitment, and designed and implemented data collection and analytics platforms, MIS, and end-to-end finance and accounting systems. Led company-wide strategic initiatives and advised on M&A and strategic partnerships.
Outcome: Strengthened finance and accounting operations, completed one acquisition, and executed a joint venture in Saudi Arabia involving both $1M capital investment and a commitment of 550 properties to the platform, doubling the number of properties under management over the period of mandate.
Sustainable eCommerce - GCC
Role: Fractional CFO, Transaction Advisor.
Client: Powder Beauty, a leading GCC e-commerce platform for sustainable beauty products.
Mandate: Advised the CEO on strategic and financial matters, enhanced investment readiness, refined unit economics, supported the onboarding of a Saudi co-founder, optimized the cap table, and provided guidance on seed fundraising.
Outcome: Cleaned-up cap table, clarified unit economics, secured a strategic co-founder to lead expansion into Saudi Arabia and successfully closed a $1M seed round led by a reputable serial entrepreneur.
Impact venture capital - Africa
Role: Senior Operating Partner, Investor, Board Member or Advisory Board Member.
Client: Bamboo Capital Partners, a global impact investment fund manager.
Mandate: Spearheaded the launch of BLOC Smart Africa, an early-stage venture capital impact fund, built and managed the investment pipeline, performed due diligence, executed transactions, and advised portfolio company managements on strategy. Supported the business development of portfolio companies across South Africa, Kenya, Cameroon, Senegal, and Ivory Coast, including securing additional capital.
Outcome: Successfully closed a $12M fund, executed five early-stage investments, and secured four follow-on investments, led the replacement of CEO in one venture.

Role: Fractional CFO Advisor.
Client: Digital Africa, the impact investment platform of Proparco, a sovereign-backed development finance institution.
Mandate: Advised 5 CEOs across Rwanda, Uganda, Tunisia, Senegal, and Cameroon on targeted engagements, including finance and accounts diagnostic, investment readiness, capital introductions, development of management reporting dashboards, regulatory licensing processes, cohort analysis, and unit economics modeling.
Outcome: Successfully delivered 7 mandates, secured term sheet, with one company progressing to the final stages of a Seed funding round.
Property Technology - GCC
Role: Strategy Advisor.
Client: Amana Investments, a leading Dubai-based industrial property contractor and investor.
Mandate: Prepared the spin-out of DuBox, a tech-enabled volumetric modular construction platform, including strategy development, financial modeling, IP structuring and assignment, capital requirements assessment, and fundraising strategy.
Outcome: Delivered a comprehensive spin-out package, positioning the business for independent growth and capital raising.
Industrial Real Estate development - africa
Role: Investment Advisor.
Client: Amana Investments, a leading dubai-based industrial property contractor and investor.
Mandate: Developed strategy, investment pipeline and partnership mapping for industrial real estate development in Africa, with a specific focus on value-added assets like cold storage, eCommerce warehouses, aviation hangars, etc.
Outcome: Actionable investment pipeline, identified strategic and operating partnerships.
Leisure and Entertainment - GCC
Role: Co-Founder.
Client: Surf District, a mix-use sport-themed real estate development and operation project.
Mandate: Founded company, developped business model, brand and feasibility study for an integrated lifestyle destination around in-land surfing, business plan, secured key partnerships, including a co-founder / brand ambassador association with a world-famous surf athlete, identified land plots in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Saudi to receive the project, secured Seed capital.
Outcome: Business plan, financial model, key partnerships identified, including land, contracted co-founder and brand ambassador, Seed investment secured, several term sheet negotiated for financing up to $250 million.
Role: Strategy Advisor, Transaction Advisor, Investor.
Client: RESA Wearables, a 3D-printed medical insole company.
Mandate: Developed business plan, revenue model, financial model and investor documentation, supported global fund raising initiative for a revolutinary footcare company offering 3D-printed custom orthotics at the point of sale under 20 minutes.
Outcome: Product launched in partnership with Costco, Invested in the $1M Seed round, secured $5M Series A investment, achieved over $12M in ARR.
Consumer Digital Health - USA
Role: Strategy and Execution Advisor.
Client: Pure Harvest, a UAE-based technology-enabled agribusiness that focuses on the year-round, sustainable production of premium fresh fruits and vegetable under harsh climate.
Mandate: Spearheaded the development of a manufactured food product business line, including product definition, market assessment, business planning, resource allocation, recipe development, contract manufacturing, brand development, packaging, retail distribution, and product launch.
Outcome: 8 succesful new products launched at all major UAE retailers (Carrefour, Spinneys, Waitrose, etc). Product of the Year award – Fresh Produce (2023).
